At the Addington live stock _ market there were fairly large (entries of stock, and a good attendance. There was a keen demand for store sheep at advanced rates. Fat lambs showed a rise of fully Is per head, and the fat sheep sale opened at firmer rates, but eased off as it proceeded. Fat cattle sold at about last week's rates for ordinary sorts, and extra' prime sold rather better. Fat pigs were a shade easier.
Store Sheep: Ewes, local bred, six and eight-tooth, to 17s Id;-four and six-tooth (good), to 19s 6d; full and failing mouth, 12s 6d to 13s 6d; aged ewes (empty), 10s lOd; culls (empty), 8s 6d; oversea ewes, two-tooth, 16s for small to 17s 6d; four, six, and eighttooth, 17s; two, four, and six tooth,
