YESTERDAY'S CUP MATCHES

An even contest between Hma and High, School B. in the ladies' senior cup competition resulted in neither side scoring. Mr K. Elliott refereed. In the Rawhiti-Wairau B. matoH the Picton forwards displayed combination fair superior to that oi me local team, and Matthews was responsible for "3 goals in the first spell. Neither side scored in the second nail, and the game concluded m javor of Rawhiti by 3 goals to nil. Messrs W. Gr Browne and E. Dallison retereed. The pristine glory of the Kiwi team is rapidly-fading, and yesterday, playin"- several short, they fell victims to Wairau A. by. 2 goals to nil. Browne and Morrison shot goals for the winners. Mtr E. J. Harvey controlled the game. ______________
