MAORIS BEAT QUEENSLAND.
(Received June IS, 8.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, June 18. The Maoris defeated Queensland by 11 points to nil. There was beautiful weather, and the game throttghout was vigorously contested. The Maoris' passing was brilliant and their defence very sound. The Queensland form was much below that of Saturday. They were defending the greater part of the game. They lacked combination. Ryland scored two tries and French one. Woods con-verted one.
