M. SAZANOFF THANKED.
ST. PETERSBURG, June 18. The, Tsar, in a rescript addressed to M. Sazanoff, says: "The hearty reception accorded me by the Kaiser and the people of Berlin, and iay ■ friendly meeting with the King or * England, bore evidence not only to the traditions of old friendship, but to that harmonious feeling on the main questions of European policy which are a sure pledge of peace, so necessary to the happiness ot all
nations." . The Tsar concludes by thanking M. Sazanoff for the perspicacity and steadfastness with which he fulfilled bis Majesty's instructions on-the Balkan questions, winning for himself the trust of everyone participating m the settlement of the complicated problems. '
