HONORARY MEMBERS' CONCERT.

With memories of recent concerts given by the Tenth Mounted Regimental Band the public will certainly await the forthcoming event in His Majesty's Theatre on Tuesday next with pleasurable anticipation. It has always been the Band's aim to cater for its honorary members in a firstclass manner, and incidentally give the public of Marlborough an opportunity to hear a musical programme of more than ordinary merit. The Band has been successful in securing the services of Mr W. G. Stevenson, a cornet player of ability, as Blenheimites will doubtless i-em ember, and Mrs F. C. Ferry and Messrs Bert Tasker and E.. F. Kain as vocalists, while Miss Maisie Geary, of Picton, will introduce two dancing ndvelties. The programme is not vet complete, but will be published in Saturday's issue of The Express. The Band itself is now in fine form, and judging by recent practices, the renditions of ' "Robert il Diavolo " "Poet and Peasant,'' "Dreams of Ocean," some of the selections to be played, should demonstrate what progress has been made by the^ Band in its treatment of. some of the musical classics. Popular prices, 2s and Is, are being charged.
