A WATERSIDERS' BALLOT

[Pbess Association.] AUCKLAND, June 16. . A meeting of the Watersiders' Union. 400 being present, resolved that a ballot be taken on the following questions: — Are you in favor or making common cause, in the united fight against the recognition of "scab" unionism •on the waterfront ports of this country, as existing at present at Timaru. and for the restitution ot the 1912 agreement? Are you m favor of no action being taken? The ballot will fake place on Wednesday and Thursday, and the result will be sent to the Federation, which will be guided in its futurfe policy by the expression of opinion of the unions concerned.
