CONSTANTINOPLE, June 15. Lieutenant Hilmi, wiho< was shot while attempting to effect "an arrest in connection with Shefket's assassination, has succumbed. Samuel Effendi declares that Topal Teufik confessed himself to be the principal assassin, adding that his bullets killed Shefket.
