[Peess Association.] • .(Received June 16,- 11,30 p.m.) SYBNJEY, June 16. Though the absent votes are still •dribbling in, the elections -of Burns at Illawarxa and McGrath /Laborite) at Balla<rat , are now l>evond question.
The Labor bunches in Queensland, South Australia, and W,est Australia, jand the Liberals in New South Wales and Tasmania, are safe. In Victoria, Russell {Labor) and McColl (Liberal) are assured of their positions. For third place .Salmon /Liberal) has still a chance against Barnes (Labor). The Referenda vote is approaching 1.000,000. In all questions the "Noes" have an increasing lead.
