MOUTERE v. PICTON.
The newly-formed Picton team was defeated on Saturday at Picton by 15 points to 3—three tries converted to one. Moutere sent down a heavy and fast team, and the' Picton boys— a completely new team with the majority on the light side—did very well to hold them within bounds. Tries were scored for Moutere by Robinson, Sheridan, and Pigou, Stafford converting one and Pigou two. Matthews secored a try for Picton. Mr O'Connor refereed.
