WEEKLY SALE.
Griffiths and . Son report on their weekly sale -as follows:—Them was a large attendance, but bidding was dull wiith one or two exceptions. A draught gelding realised £30; weaaier pirns were somewhat easier, and prices ranged from 11s to 12s, according to quality. Fowls were in good demand, realising from 2s 9d (mixed sorts) to 5s per paii- fOr Whit© Leghorns. Barley .seconds brought from 10s to 10s 6d; potatoes 8s 6d; pig meal 8s 6d; peas lls-6d, all at per sack ; apples ss, and pears 4s per oaso. Furniture was m rair demand, and a lot of useful lines were disposed of.
