MADWOMAN AT AUCKLAND.

INTERRUPTS TRAINING.

AUCKLAND, June 14. Some diversion was caused.' last night on the drilling grounds when a female anti-militarist made her appearance before a squad of 200 youths, and vehemently denounced militarism. Despite a remonstrance from the officer she absolutely refused to leave the ground. An attempt _was then made by the instructor to ignore the woman and continue with the drilling, but the woman followed them round, keeping up a running fireof comment, and occasionally hustling the- instructor out of her way. Usually the drill lasts till 3.45 p.m., but yesterday the boys were dismissed at 3.30, whereupon the woman expressed delight, saying that she had routed the whole force.
