SECRET LIQUOR SUPPLY.
AN AMERICAN FARM MYSTERY,
NEW YORK, May 26. The discovery on a* farm at Bonner Springs, Kansas, of a cistern filled wrfch hard cider has solved a mystery that has been baffling the local policeauthorities for more than a year. There had been frequent complaints of. many men and boys living in the vicinity of the farm having been ruined by strong drink, but the utmest viligance failed to locate the soHrce of their liquor supply. The mystery was solved only when one of the District Attorney's officers, di^uised as a laborer, got a job on the farm, and was led into the secret.
