MELBOURNE, June 12. A peculiar development has arisen regarding Mr Fielding's election to the Legislative Council.
The law provides that contestants for the Council must be ten yearsnaturalised. According to the records Mr Fielding obtained his naturalisation papers in November, 1910.
The Elections Committee is quiring into the matter.'
