The Wharf Laborers' Union adopted the constitution of tiro new TRranspoa-t Workers' Federation, which; is intended to embrace the Merchant Ser- , vice Guild of Australasia, .the Australasian Institute of Marine Engineers, the Federated Seamen's Union, the Australasian Federated Carters' and Drivers', and the Waterside WorkersMJniion. 'The Seamen's Union has already adopted the constitution, and; the En.gineers' Institute favors federation, but not in its present form. The 'Garters' and Dlrivers' Union has yet to °d!eal witih the question. .;
