"A WONDERFUL INVENTION": TO-NIGHT.

The use of the dictagraph in detecting crime is illustrated by a film to be shown to-night at the Town Hall. The instrument is placed in the suspect's room, the police occupying a room in the vicinity. It will be remembered, that the famous American detective, Burns, used the dictagraph in bring to justice the dynamiters, the McNamara brothers. Another brilliant photoplay is "Arabian Treachery." This production tells a 'sensational tale, in which a number of lions are seen endeavoring to break down the door of a hut in which a woman and her child are imprisoned. "Two Daughters of Eve" is a ladies' story. "Adrift in the World" shows a girl's gallant struggle against uneven odds. "Duck Farming," "The Organ-grinder." "Dupin Peasant Shooting," "Polidor Needs a Wife." and "Willie becomes an Artist" go to complete the programme.
