DISQUIETING RUMORS
A cablegram in the Sydney Sun says: "The San Francisco Call del^that it w rumored in London, that the King's health is in a dangerous condition. A recent cold, coupled with chronic dyspepsia, is said to have seriously affected his heart. Ihe Court physicians are reticent, and concerted efforts are being made to suppress information. Owing to this illness, says the Call, the King was unable to take part in the Royal festivities at Christmas, and for months, past he has been living on soups, biscuits dipped in warm milk, and a little truit. The Queen has taken personal charge of the King's diet, and two eminent doctors are in constant attendance."
