MIDSHIPMAN KILLED
HIT BY AEROPLANE PROPELLER
PARIS, Jan. 3. | A French midshipman serving with : the submarine flotilla at Brest was ' travelling as a passenger to-day on an rcroplane which was piloted "by a [ brother officer. : The machine was'brought to earth, | and. when being started again the midshipman came too close, and was struck on the. head by the propeller. ' The blade cut through his safety helmet arid fracxured the base of the , skull. The wound was fatal.
