A DIFFERENT MATTER
The following dialogue between a departing visitor and the hotel attendant is amusing. The smart attendant has just handed the visitor an .umbrella:—'How do you know this is my umbrella " "I don't know that the umbrella is yours, sir," replied the attendant, with the suggestion of a smile. "Then why do ] you give it?" asked the visitor. '"Because," answered the attendant, "it's] the one you gave to me." j
