POLICE ULTIMATUM.
WAIHI, Nov. 5. The police yesterday issued an ultimatum stating that they reluctantly had been forced to the conclusion that the patience and goodnatured tolerance hitherto extended to misguided persons has been misconstrued into evidence of weakness and a warrant for further license. It states that the police will, on futtire occasions, use similar methods to those of Saturday night.
