This and the next mentioned case were partly gone into at the last sessions, when an order was made that the Official Assignee and Murray, Roberts and Co. be joined with the defendant. G. N. M. Fairhall and others v. Arthur Wiffen, claim for the return of 458 sacks of barley valued at £450. N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., v. Athol Ernest Foster, of Nelson, and Annie Clunies Ross, of Grovetown, a claim for £177 with £14 15s interest on a dishonored promissory note, made by Foster and endorsed by the other defendant, payable, to B. Garnham and endorsed by him to the plaintiff. Robert Allan, of Nelson, v. E. A, Nosworthy, of Blenheim, application that an alleged lease of a shop property in Alfred Street for six years, purported to have been executed on September Ist, 1911, be decreed to be null and void.
