BRITISH PICTURES.

The BritisEt Picture Cfompany aimat the very highest standards in securing film subjects. The lengthy wordless drama "Honor thy Father, 11 to be shown with the new programme at the Town Hall on Wednesday evening is a typical specimen of their best efforts. The scenic surroundings are exquisite, and many fine situations are beautifully depicted by an intelligent and clever body of actors. The film has just completed a season in the Empire City, where it created something of a sensation, people having to be turned away from the doors of, the theatre. Another fine dramagraph, '"The Derelict," presents some unique scenes of a storm at sea, with a shipwreck. In "Birds of the Moorland" animal life is seen in its natural habitat, and trick. photography of a perplexing nature characterises "The Mystic Ring" and "The Midnight Ghost." "Her Last Shot" and "An Indian Martyr" are of the sensational i order. An exceptionally fine budget of fun producers is made up of "Help! Help!" "A Problem in Reduction," and "Under Royal Protection." The \ music by the orchestra should be a ! feature of the entertainment. A j change of subjects will be screened on Friday. To-night the Company will be at Marlboroughtown, and on Thurs- ] day at Picton.
