WELLINGTON, Aug. 19. The Government has decided to close all the retail depots in Wellington, Wanganui, Christohurch, and Dunedin established for the sale of State coal. Ur late there have been labor troubles. These, accentuated by the shortage of labor in the mines, have brought about a restricted output. The mines are unable to supply both private and State needs, the railways being practically able to consume the whole of the present output.
