Mr D. C. Bates telegraphs as follows:—Variable moderate, to strong northerly winds prevailing, and veering westerly; weather probably cool and changeable, and probably a. very «old night; glass unsteady, fall slowly, bat rise after twenty-four :hours, and moderate to strong southerly winds; tides and sea moderate.
