In the Federal House the discussion on Mr Wynne's motion in favor of a referendum on the question of the capital site disclosed that inter-State jealousy is unabated.
New South. Wales members vigorously condemned the motion as another attempt to secure the capita in Victoria.
The debate was adjourned till the 29th.
