'•>' ,•./ "' .■ -;: At 3.15 p.m. the manager of Pascoo's jewellery establishment received a telephone message stating that Mr Nathan was speaking and requesting that some diamond, rings ~be sent l-oiind to liis, 'residence,' also that a marble clock .could be taken back for repair. 'The jeweller dispaticheel a man with the goods to Mr David Nathan's house. On his arrival at the gate of the house the assistant met a man. who saicl:—"You are 'from'Paseoe's, and have a /small parcel for me. Tm Mr Nathan." ,He added! that the clock was at the warehouse and lie wouEl send for it. When the assistant returned to thin shop Mr "Nathan was commimicatetl with and denied all knowledge of the telephone message. -Y. Another daring burglary occurred on Sunday!
