WAIHI SHARES.
AUCKLAND, May 13. On the Stock Exchange yesterday the price of Waihi shares eased at- the call, but whether that was due to ' the possibility of reduction in future dividends, or because the shareholders do not like the reserve being utilised for the purpose of acquiring and working another property, it is impossible :to say. Sales opened at 38s 6d, but the price dropped to 37s 9d, at which figure transactions took place. The market closed! with buyers at 37s 6d.
