Excepting stamps for prepayment and an address-label, nothing 'whatever may be joined or attached to a nost-card for a place beyond the vlblony. For delivery within the Coloay receipt-stamps or slips of paper ♦f,ay be affixed to post-cards. Reply Cards—The reply half of * post-card received from any place outside of the colony can be sent without «xtra charge only to the country in arhich it originated j and must have been received attached to the corresponding half. Each of the two halves must fulfil the conditions laid down for single, post-cards ; one half is doubled over the other, and they must not be closed up in any manner, whatsoever. _ Private Cards.—Private cards, including pictorial cards, bearing adhesive stamps may also be used »■ post- cards. They must be composed of ordinary cardboard not thicker I than that used for post-cards of ths ■ post-card pattern. The size must not Ibe more than s£in. by SJin., and not I less than 4iin. by 2firi. For inland I transmission the cards may be en- | tirely plain ; but for transmission to places beyond the colony reply carda must bear the words, " Post-card with Reply Paid," and " Post-card Reply." To other than English-speaking countries these words must appear in Trench, " Carte Postale avec Reponse Payee," " Carte Postale—Reponse." They are otherwise treated like officially-issued post-cards. Private cards will be received from \Ji« public, and impressed with the penny postage-stamp.
