Extract from London Medical. Magazine for May, 1910:—"These' ferments, obtained from the papaw,. are made up in the form of an oiuc--ment- and. gargle, 6nd are recommended as an application to enlarged' glandular tissues, tumors, and ulcera--' tions. The present preparation seems--Ito combine "the most active fermentsof the plant in a successful- manner. Its activity was demonstrated by several oasee of hypertrophy of theturbinai bodies, and; in cases of enlarged tonsils. After three or four; weeks' application thero was very, very marked improvement. Thereean be no doubt that the preparation, is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating tha necessity for operative procedures m many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much t6o hastily. The present ferments are well deserving of a trial, txnd in many cases we have no doubt the result will be satisfactory." Papaw OintmentIs 6d (for ulcers, tumors, goitre, and poisoned wounds); Papaw Papayate, 2s 6d (for nasal catarrh); Tonic, 2s 6d; Papaw Pile Cure, 2s 6d Agent: H. L. Jackson, Chemist, Bleuheim.
