DOUBLING THE LEVIES
LONDON, Jan. 11. The General'} Federation of Trade Unions has doubled the levies of the affiliated unions, in order to support the cotton operatives. . The accumulated funds amount* to £66,730, 'as compared with £162,000 in 1909. The payment of 2s 6d> to the weavers absorbed £17,500 weekly.
