The following Grand-Jury was empanelled :-—Messrs J. B.;Sharp ; (foreman), ¥. W. Adams, A.j E. Austin, 35. H. Best, Wi Ching. F. T, Qarke, B. S. Clouston, W. F. Dames, W, Dalziel, E.>H:. Epcles, R> P. Furnesk, M. Jdlymari, T. A. Kirby, A. D. Me-*' JLauchkn; C. Mitchell. W. O'Brien, S. .Rabono, T. A. ReVell, T.. Smalo, E. Vance, R. Wanden, J. G. Wolferf?tan; and T. L. "Woods.1 ~ Hj^ wa© presented with a pair oi white kid; glov-ss. as a mark of ■the absence of crime. In his address 'to the Grand Jury he congratulated them u^on tlio continued immunity from crime in this district, sayitig +liat the gi-oat majority of the people were co mw-abiding that it seemed there was no place lor criminals.' His Honor then dismissed thio Grand Jury, <and also the common jurors, as there were no jury casos.
