A PECULIAR ACCIDENT.

CHRISTCHURCH, March 20. Late on Friday night Dr Terras Bell was driving" a' motor' ear down Colombo Street, when he collided with a • sanitary cart. Dr Bell was pinned between the steering post and the seat and had three ribs broken and was badly cut on the face and arms. The horse was thrust up on the motor beside Dr Bell and had subsequently to be destroyed. The cart was carrying the necessary lights, but heavy rain obscured Dr Bell's view. •
