CHRISTCHURCH, March 20. Michael Fitzgerald, a seaman of the schooner Eunice, was drowned in Lyttelton Harbor yesterday. _He and a mate went for a swim, Fitzgerald entering the water first. When his mate, was ready he discovered that Fitzgerald was floating with his head under water. The doctor was summoned and expressed, the opinion that .death was primarily due to heart failure. Fitzgerald was a native of Cork, and was 32 years ot age.'
