Those insistent individuals who Stand outside shops and buttonhole passers-by to persuade them to buy clothes or other goods which they might or might not want, says the Sydney Daily Telegraph, received' a warning by the conviction of three of them at the Central Police Court for obstructing the footway. An inspector of the City Council explained th<j procedure. He was stopped as ho was walking by a, shop and told that there was something in the shop which would suit him.
