A NARROW ESCAPE.
"NEW PLYMOUTH, March 17. Two youngsters about 8 years of :age were bathing on the open beach at "Moturoa yesterday, when one got into difficulties. Miss Richmond, bathing near by, went to_ his assistance and held him tip until help was forthcoming.l She then fainted, and had to be carried ashore. Neither were any the worse' for their experience.
