X: -"Jennings (Can- 1 terbury), -lit. Miles' '(Canterbury) ,- V. 'G, Jervis (Otago),,C. Carrington (Canterbury), W.N. Weir (Welt; ington), D. R: Carpdnler (Auckland),' and E. Oliver (Canterbury). These- have still to pass the final medical examination and be approved by the General Officer commanding the'Ne*" Zealand' Defence Forces." ' • The remaining five who presented themselves .did not- attain the necessary qualifying standard.
