SEDDON STOCK SALE.
-Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report holding their usual fortnightly Seddbn stock sale yesterday. There was a iaa-ge attendance of buyers, but on account of tho continuous- dry weather, and the bulk of the yarding Consisting of aged culls from the farmers' flocks, a dull sale was1 predicted. Several lines of young ewes were yarded, and ©old well, with a keen demand. Their entry consisted of about 5000 sheep 34 rams, and two horses, practically'the whole of which wore ©old at auction, prices being to -vendors' satisfaction. Rams sold well at reduced prices, bub horses were unsaleable. Prices were as follows: — Tiro and 4-tcoth half bred ewes 14s to 15s: 4, G and 8-tobth ewes 7s lid; Romney ewes 13s 6d; fat ewes 7s to 9s* aged ewes 4s 6d; fat wethers 12s' Id; fat lambs 9s; Ugbrooke wether lambs 6s; English Leicester rams 1£ to 2 guineas
