AN ATTACK ON GENERAL HAMILTON.
(Received March 16, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, March 15. General Pcle-Oarew, Unionist member for Bodwin, attacked General lan Hamilton's book on compulsory serf vice. Ho said he had had considerable experience of General Hamilton, and his book was, like himself, flighty and unreliable, and shad! been written chiefly to sell and for advertisement, and incidentally for the satisfaction of the Minister for War. ; Mr Hddane indignantly protested that the book had not been written to order, and said General Hamilton's chivalry was above anything of that sort.
