LONDON, March 14. Huge prices are being obtained for West End mansions for the Coronation.

An American offered £17,000 for three months' lease of a house in Hall Street. The owner asks £20,000. A Liberal Peer refused £10,000 for his residence for six weeks.

Mr John Hays Hammond, special representative for the United States, is paying £2,000 per week for Mr Uurdett-Courts' old house.
