WORLD'S WORKERS.

The Board of Trade has just.issued an interesting abstract of foreign labor statistics. The most striking fact shown is that agriculture, which in foreign countries finds employment for 31.4 per cent, (highest) to 10.1 per cent, (lowest), can only give work to 5.6 per cent in the United Kingdom, which is an easy "last." The following table shows the percentage of the population employed in various trades and occupations in the foreign country with the .highest percentage and in the United King-, dom: —
