A SPLENDID PROGRAMME.
Fay's Hail, Pictoii, was crowded long before the commencement of the British Picture Company's entertainment last evening, and late- i comers had to be. content with standing room. The programme submitted was of first-class quality, and was received with, warm approval. To-night the series will be shown at 'the Town Hall, Blenheim. . The current production comprises all the latest masterpieces by the world's best film manufacturers. The star item entitled "Lieut. Rose and the Chinese Pirates" is in itself an entertainment, and well worth, the price of admission. The other items of the set are quite as good as anything yet shown in Blenheim. The dramas are unique arid right off the. beaten track of . pictorial dramas. ,The wholesomo blending of pathos and humor is of a high- order and appeals to the audience in a • most convincing manner. .The comics are of a kind that k&ep the. onlookers in a simmer of laughter ending in hilarious merriment. To-morrow the children Mall be given the opportunity ■of witnessing 'the exploits, of Lieut. Rose, - and to-morrow night the last opportunity will be given local residents of seeing the excellent series. Renwick will be visited on Monday next.
