A SUBSIDY PROMISED
[rBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received March 9, 9.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 9. Mr McGowen promised the Araatour Sporting Federation deputation £ for £ subsidy up to £200.. towards sending representatives to the Festival of Empire. One reason for doing so was that it meant advertisement for New South Wales.
