GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS

(Christchurch Press, Wednesday.) Business in grain, seed^ and. produce has been fairly quiet so far this week, and no big deals are reported. There, are very few oats ottering, farmers holding them for feed. Buyers are offering prices ruling last week. Potatoes are not being dealt with very actively, owing to North Island supplies being on the market. The ruling price is £2. 10s at country ■stations, but not a,;groat many are offering yet. : : J '.■ '\ Buyers are offering 35s for onions, but sellers are inclined to hold for £2.
