TRENTHAM, March 9. Proceedings opened with the Champion Teams Match, 200, 500, and 600 yards, sever, shots. There were 45 entries.

The Ohura Rifle Club were the winners w,ith 475. This takes the district shield and £20.

Blenheim 466,. Napier 466, and Taradale, Tua Marina, and Opaki. with 465 each, win from £10 to £5.

KING'S MATCH

Tho firing-off for the last four in the final 50 of the King's Match resulted in Craw, Masefield, Williams, and Humphries being victors. The Governor, and Lady Islington, General Godley, Mrs Godley, and staff were on the ground. The weather is fine. ■
