THE HEW PROGRAMME.

The popular local Picture Company appear to continue to enlarge their connection with their 'patrons, who (evidently appreciate the ecood things provided for them. Last night the Grovetown Hall was filTed with an enthusiastic audience. To-night the new programme will be screened at the Town Hall. The films are of an interesting and instructive nature, and demonstrate the high state of perfection which motion photography has attained. A realistic picture presents a squatd of Danish Dragoons on the march■._, Pathe's Gazette contains a collection of items'of interest, such as the election of the Lord Mayor of London; a Steeplechase meeting at Dunstable; a procession of Freemasons in regalia; boat-racing at Ranelagh; motor-car race from Boulougne to Surmer; the launching of the liner La France are well represented. These include a vividly absorbing Hm entitled "A Call of the Heart," showing the pathetic love of a drink-maddened man for a little girl. A sensational picture drama of more than ordinary interest depicts an officer of the British Navy captured by Chinese pirates. A fitting close to the series is some fine comic films including "Foolshead. a Victim of-Honesty." To-morrow Picton is to be visited, and a return will be made to the Town Hall for Friday and Saturday. On Saturday afternoon the usual matinee will be held.
