RE-ARRANGEMENT OP PORTFOLIOS.
" [PRESB ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, March 6. In 1 view of the departure of Sir J. (G Ward and Dr Findlay, the Cabinet portfolios have been re-arranged. The Hon. Mr Carroll will be ActingPremier,, and in addition to his own .portfolios will be Minister in Charge of Crown Lands arid Advances to bettiers, Electoral,- and Rational Annuities*; the Hon. Mr Millar takes the Treasury, ' Friendly- Societies, btato Guaranteed Advances to Settlers, and Land a»a Income Tax; the Hon. Mr Fowlds, % takes - Defence, Justice, Police, Prisons, and Public Health; the Hon. T. Mackenzie takes Post and Telegraph, Advertising, and State Forests; %h& Hon. R. MeKenzie, Uustoms, and the Hon. D. Buddo, Land for Settlement, and Land Settlement 'Finance.
