A NARROW ESCAPE

TAIHAPE, March 6
A man named Tweedle had a narrow escape in trying to board a moving train. He fell" between the carriages but retained his hold on a stanchion. ~■ The train was stopped by the stationmaster flashing a red light- The promptness of the driver saved the man's life.
