ON THE WAY HOME.
WELLINGTON, March 4. There was a representative gather- i ing of citizens ut Thorndon Station, to say farewell to the Prime Minister and the Hon. Dr. Findlay, who left for Auckland at 0.15 pjn. on their way. to London to . attend the Coronation. . , V All the-Ministers, with the exception of the. Hon. Mr Buddo, ' who remains at Wellington, and the Hon. Mr Ngata, who has gone to the ;East Coast, will accompany their two colleagues as far as Auckland, the Ministerial party travelling in two reserved carriages which- formed1 part of the Main Trunk train „ as far as, Taekakariki. At that station they were detached and coupled on to another engine, so as to enable stops to be made ut various stations at which the express does not stop.
