The Liverpool Post says that strangers chancing to pass through the Dv Pont Circle Park at Washington have lately been perplexed to see a large number of children, cvi-> dently belonging to the moneyed class, playing about with a blue ribbon fastened across their chests on. which in gold letters are the words "Don't kiss me." It was at first thought that this betokened a recrudescence of the Puritanism of their forefathers. Further inquiry, however, has elicited the fact that this is not the case. It seems that it is all the outcome of the ani-germ. craze, and that the mothers of Washington and - Boston have banded themselves together with the object of preventing their babies bo(ing contaminated by the promiscuoi kissing, of admirer s^ and this" is t] initial .step in the crusade. It w" !1 probably be effectual, for who wouU dare plajnt ,a kiss on lips, however ruby, with that legend glaring in gold just below?
