WHEAT, FLOUR, AND OATS MARKETS.
[PBESS ASSOCIATION.] * (Received Nov. 4,8.45 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 4. The wheat markets are dull and drooping, owing to the decline of American, the continuance of good rains in Argentint, and the poor demand on the Continent. Thirty-six shillings is asked for a South Australian October-November shipment; 35s 3d for December-January; 35s Janu-ary-February; 36s Ski New South Wales steamer shipment afloat. Twelve to fifteen thousand quarters of Australian January-February sold at 35s 3id, and a similar quantity at 355. There is a limited demand for Australian on spot at about 36s 6d to 375. New Zealand 375.
Flour is weak. Good patents on passage 25s to 25s 6d, c.i.f.; on spot 26s to 26s 6d.
Oats are dull. New Zealand are unchanged; La Plata November-De-cember 12s 6d.
