Briand has reformed hi& Ministry, retaining the Premiership' and the portfolio of Minister for the* Interior and Public Worship. M. Girard is Minister for Justice; M~ Pichon, Foreign Affairs; General' Brun, Minister for War; Admiral Lapeyrere, Minister for Marine; M.. Maurice Faure, Education; M. Klotz,, Finance; M. Jean Dupuy, Commerce ;M. Lafferre, Labor; M.. 'Puech, Public Works. It is expected that M. Briand will: amend the trade union laws in tho< direction of imposing specialty severe; penalties on any association organising for the stoppage of means of' public communication, inciting to» sabotage, or practising intimidation.
